Student Serve at Fred Jordan Missions

Verve City Students are spending a meaningful weekend serving our unhoused neighbors in downtown LA in partnership with Fred Jordan Missions.

We'll meet at Verve City Church at 10am on Friday, July 10, then head to Fred Jordan Missions as a group for worship and to serve lunch. Students and leaders will spend the night in the dorms at the mission. 

On Saturday, we'll serve breakfast, distribute donated clothing, and serve lunch, then head back home. We'll be back to The Verve at 4:30pm for parent pickup. 

Cost: $50 per person to cover transportation and dinner Friday night

IMPORTANT: FJM requires that participants must be 15 years or older to spend the night. 

We will host a MANDATORY PRE-TRIP SESSION for students and parents in June to share information about the Missions, and some ways we can prepare for the nature of our service assignments. We hope to answer any questions you may have so that students and families understand expectations of this unique opportunity.
